Privacy Policy

Account data: your email address and authentication records. Service data: API keys you create, watchlists, deals and documents you store, and usage metrics (request activity per key, timestamps). Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent) kept for security and debugging.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems; we retain only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.

To operate the service: authentication, API access, metering, billing, abuse prevention, and support. We may email you about your account, service changes, or billing. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your stored research (deals, documents, watchlists) for anything other than serving it back to you.

The service runs on Amazon Web Services (US regions); AI summaries are generated via AWS Bedrock. Payments: Stripe. Email delivery: our transactional email provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in. No advertising trackers.

Account and service data are retained while your account is active. On account deletion, your keys, watchlists, deals, and documents are removed from production systems; residual copies in backups and logs age out on our standard rotation. To request deletion, email admin@situationatlas.com.

You can access and correct your account data from the app, and request a copy or deletion of your data by email. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights (e.g., GDPR or CCPA), we will honor verified requests consistent with those laws.
